Good Times

So, we at the Kofoed house love the winter. ALesha has been waiting to take Ayden skiing since he was born and truthfully, so have I...but deep down I was alittle more nervous about it than her and keep putting it off. He's barely 3 and really doesn't get what skiing is and I would hate for him to not love something that I plan to do with him until I'm 80. Plus, they put a new knee in the family ski instructor, so I had just thought we would wait until next year to try it. But I gave in and we went because it really started to sound fun. Well, we didn't take a camera, mainly because we forgot it but that's probably better cause it would have jinxed it for sure. It started out a little rough but we didn't do any teaching, we really just wanted him to see what it was, understand that these two planks slid on the snow and want him to want to come back...and we accomplished those goals in just two runs (which actually took about 3 hours) and we went home for hot chocolate as soon as Ayden said that was what he wanted. I think we are on a great pace to get him loving it and make the olympics in 2026. Pics next time Mom, I promise.

Other Fun
Ayden loves his cousin Landon and Landon spend the night at our house the other night. Here are a few pics from that.

So, right after this was bed time and neither one of them was took excited to have to sleep in seperate rooms. They actaully acted like they had been planning all night to sleep in the same bed but a 2 year old and a 3 year old don't scheme, do they? Anyway, I didn't think it was going to work but Alesha gave in and took them in Ayden's room and told them that if they made noise it was done and after an hour of disbelief, we went to the door to make sure the quietness wasn't them being sneak, but it wasn't, they were fast asleep, side by side. I thought about the camera but knew it would wake up Keegan, captian "no sleep."

Speaking of Keegan

Where has the time gone? He will be 1 tomorrow. We love him as much as we love Ayden and don't know what we would do without him in our family. We love to watch him grow and progress...but man that kid is on the go and does a good job of wearing us and his Grandma's out. Here are some pics of him from recent fun.

Here is he thinking about hiding when cuaght trying to empty a drawer....

And then he trys to hide in the pantry.

Thinks he knows how to climb stairs but doesn't get gravity at all.

Loves the Bean bag!
