We are planning on going to baby animals day and Ayden keeps asking me if it is time to go yet. I told him not yet and then decided to show him the clock. I showed him the digital one in the bedroom so he could see the numbers. The next hour every minute that passed we had to do something different. He would say, "mom it is 1059 now what do we do. I would tell him something and he would do it and when it changed to 1100 we would do something different. If I didn't think of something until the last seconds we would do it for seconds and then change. We have moved on after about exactly 1 hour 17 minutes.
The next topic... Fire Safety
So at the library we got a book about stop, drop, and roll. We were reading it and it said to feel if the door was warm if there was a fire, if it was you should go to the window and yell for help. If the door was cool you should try to go outside. So Ayden came to me, "The door is cold mom!" We need to run out really fast to the park and play." "The window is cold too, but it looks warm outside." "When its warm outside we can go to the park." "Hurry mom we should go fast."
...And now back to what time is it now mom? Is it "One o two mom, do we leave on that one mom?" What time is it now?" "What do we do now?"
Oh man time is not going fast enough Keegan is asleep or we might have to run to the park fast so he would stop watching the clock.
Maybee we will play some games instead, but they better be fast if we have a one minute time limit.
